Zanu-PF in lavish fund-raising dinner

Zanu-PF is on a fundraising spree for its December Victoria Falls Conference as it plans to host a lavish dinner in Harare with a cheapest table going for $10 000.
President Robert Mugabe's party need about $3 million to fund the conference, which will draw more than 6,000 delegates to the resort town.
The conference, which was last held in Victoria Falls in 2002, will be held during the first week of December.
According to a notice today, the dinner is set for November 6 at Rainbow Towers.
Four categories for companies have been set ranging from Platinum Table ($100 000), Gold Table ($50 000), Silver Table ($30 000) and Bronze Table is just $10 000.
Each table will accommodate maximum on of ten people.
Provinces are expected to raise $100,000 each.
Vice President Emmerson Mnagangwa would be the guest of honour during the national fund-raising dinner.
Police ban will provide entertainment.
