A group calling for the resignation of President Robert Mugabe says they will intensity their campaign this year.
Charles Nyoni of Occupy Africa Unity Square, led by abducted political activist Itai Dzamara, says they have devised many ways of ensuring that the president leaves office for allegedly failing to do his job.
Nyoni said the organization would also put pressure on the state to find Dzamara, who was abducted by unknown assailants nine months ago.
"There is quite a lot the state can do to ensure that Dzamara is found. In the first place they should intensify investigations on his disappearance," he said.
He noted that they will intensify their campaign of pressing President Robert Mugabe to step down.
"We are going to be very much active as we now have a lot of partners as well as sympathizers on the ground willing to walk the talk with us," said Nyoni.
He also said they are not afraid of state security agents, who have stopped all their protests since they started gathering at Harare's Africa Unity Square grounds.
