Businessman up for fraud

Harare businessman Bernard Mahara Mutanga is before the courts for allegedly selling land belonging to CFI Holdings and swindling buyers of more than $20 000.

He was released on $200 bail.

Mutanga is said to have advertised in newspapers and internet that he was selling stands for construction of core houses in Glen View 7 along Amalinda Drive but the land was registered in the name of Crest Breeders, a subsidiary of CFI.
