Thieves break into grocery shop steal food worth $40

Centenary - Due to poverty, crime is now the order of the day in Mashonaland Central as a grocery wholesaler in Gatu Centenary was robbed of food stuffs worth US$40 on Sunday.

Sources close to investigations allege that on Sunday the 6th of November around 20:00hours a door into 'Super Wholesales' was broken by unknown burglars who took goods worth US$40.

Police said they will not take anything to chance to curb crime as the rate of crime continues rise.
