Dr JTR Mujuru, the President of National People's Party and People' s Rainbow Coalition Presidential Candidate wishes to express sadness and shock on the passing on of South Africa' s revolutionary ant- apartheid icon Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela at Netcare Milpark Hospital, Johannesburg, South Africa on the 2nd of April 2018.  Indeed Mama Winnie was a supreme justicar of South Africa. She fought evil apartheid to ensure that the world and South Africa at large must be made safe for democracy. She was an iron lady who made South Africa's march to freedom irreversible. Without doubt, Mama Winnie demonstrated to the world an indomittable and revolutionary spirit  of women who fought alongside their male counterparts in fighting repressive laws of colonial administrations.

Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela suffered all forms of discrimination and retribution on the hands of the racial supremasists and diabolic apartheid regime. As a Mother, she bore the brunt of looking after the family  while her late and former Husband  Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 27 years at Robben lsland. Mama Winnie's fortitude and quest for total emancipation of mankind kept the revolution alive notwithstanding the incarceration of the late iconic Nelson Mandela and other South African revolutionary luminaries. She bore the mark of Mother of the nation. She got arrested on  numerous occassions and was even banished to Brandfort in the orange free State by apartheid supremacists. We say thank you Mama winnie for showing and teaching  humanity that the world can be a best place to live in if we all love one another irregardless of race, sex, tribe, gender and status.

To our heroine, we wish you eternal rest in peace. You ran your journey and you conquered. The revolutionary footprints you leave behind remain a hub of instructive wisdom for generations to come. To the Mandela family we ask you to find comfort and solace  in the know that your loss is also our collective  loss. We pray that instead of mourning, may the lord grant us wisdom and power to celebrate life enriching lessons that Mama Winnie imparted into humanity of the world that by loving one another we can all make the world a better place to live in. May her Soul rest in eternal peace.

Dr Joice Teurai Ropa Mujuru
National People's Party President and People's Rainbow Coalition Presidential Candidate for 2018.
