The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education. Martin Luther said so. Malcom X once said,"Education is the passport of future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today."
In Zimbabwe, parents strive by all means to send their children to school as way of investment into the future of their children. Education makes your mindset and capacity of knowledge to increase. Knowledge is power. If you ask children in Africa where do you want to go and do your higher learning education when you finish your High School. Definitely the answer will be overseas and the topping nations its USA and Great Britain. These are their dream destinations.
The British Embassy has a facility /arm under the banner of British council which provides information about scholarships/studying in Universities and Colleges in UK.
