Chikanga Dangamvura Constituency Member of Parliament Prosper Chapfiwa Mutseyami held a way forward meeting with nine councillors and some leaders yesterday.

While at the meeting, the legislator bemoaned party members who, through greedness  and power hungry became Independent candidates, while others were supporting  Independent candidates and Zanu pf.

He said, "MDC Alliance leaders who were going against party orders, according to National Council resolution, will not hold any party position until ten years.

"It's always best to note that all those who were independent candidates and those who advocated for that sad scenario it's best for them to face the music for they cost the party dearly."

In addition, HonMutseyami urged councillors to go to their respected wards and address party members about the status quo of the party.

"You should go and urge members to remain calm and united with all gratitude for they voted overwhelmingly for President Nelson Chamisa.

"They must as well take heed to congetise the followers in our structures and strengthen them at all times.

"The followers must as well prepare for the coming our President Nelson for a thank you rally in Sakubva stadium most probably in late September to give direction and thank people for voting and make MDC Alliance win resoundingly.

"Party members should not worry much because our President Nelson Chamisa is the legitimate winner of the election. He won by 2,6 million. It is applaudable."

Meanwhile, MDC Alliance in Chikanga Dangamvura will start having feedback meetings today.

"The leadership in the wards must as well start to mobilize so that we have intact structures in all our ten wards."

More so, they will also start mobilizing for the Presidential thank you rally to be held in the late September and for the supporters to mix and mingle.
