The person of the MDC T President Dr. Morgan Tsvangirai was replicated in the excess of several hundreds of thousands across the globe. Multitudes of members of the youth assembly observed the birthday of Chairman Happymore Chidziva popularly known as Leader Cde Bvondo. The true definition of "Tsvangirai – he that seeketh freedom for his people" – truly there are many in the spirit and person of Tsvangirai. No doubt it is not about the donkey but it is about him who is on the donkey – so it is all about Tsvangirai.

Leader Cde Bvondo who is on a working holiday in South Africa came as a guest of the youth assembly according to Organiser Tinashe Chifamba. The esteemed leader was received in Johannesburg by Chairman Emmanuel Banda who took him on an orientation tour of his district before the deputy provincial organiser Patrick Danga gave the national Youth Chairman his full itinerary.

As confirmation that the visit is neither a luxury tour nor just a retreat, Cde Leader Bvondo hit the skies to the province of Nelson "Madiba" Mandela. Speaking on the phone from Capetown, Provincial Youth Deputy Chairman,  Innocent Nsingo had this to say, "As the youth assembly have a mission to liberate Zimbabwe and as such Leader Cde Bvondo's first port of call shall be Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality to pick up the spirit of Madiba. I have no doubt on the arrangements in place, I have spoken to my lieutenants and I don't have a grain of doubt – Mutondo and his team are up to the game."

In the windy city, Cde Leader Bvondo got a grand reception by the entire district leadership in attendance being provincial leaders led by Cde Webster Matutu, Chris Manjonjo and Brian Mari. Speaking at the reception was Chairman Rodrieck "Chinja" Chimombe the founding district organising secretary for Kwekwe where the now honourable Chairman cut his teeth into politics as a teenager. "Today is my day of fulfilment. I vividly remember the then diminutive Happymore being part of my troops as we educated people on the need for change in the year 2000. Cde Leader Bvondo was one of those people I relied on and the proof is here for everyone to see."

The evening of the 27th of December 2014, saw the Chairman Edward Mutondo led Youth Assembly, of the Eastern Cape district hosting a party in celebration of Cde Leader Bvondo's birthday at the Hobby Beach – The Boadwalk Summersrand Waterfront. The full youth district leadership was present including Cde Lloyd Ndongwe, and the youth treasurer Cde Brighton Marimatombo who did his best to make the event a success. Speaking at the same event, district youth secretary, Oscar Madanhi thanked the district executive members, provincial members with special mention being made to leaders Portia Makaripe, Gladys Mangwende, Brenda of Wllamer Branch and Natalie of central branch among others.

The political pilgrimage of Cde Leader Bvondo now takes his to Mvezo, the birth place of Nelson Mandela courtesy of the Youth Assembly National executive member Vimbai Mavherudze. Cde Vimbai is a personal friend of the Madiba family and has since facilitated the visit to the royalty of the Abathembu people. Youth Assembly Treasurer Joel Marere  have confirmed the itinerary taking the national leader to, Qunu,  the final resting place of Madiba for Cde Leader Bvondo to pay his last respects to the great liberation icon.  Chairman Chidziva has confirmed that he will sent the message of love and thank the Abathembu royalty for giving the world and Africa in particular, their son NELSON ROHIHLAHLA MANDELA.

Winding up his tour, notwithstanding having to visit all districts in the province, Cde Leader Bvondo will meet up with senior government leaders though there is no confirmation of the possibility of meeting President Zuma or his proxy yet. Part of his mission is to thank the government and the people of South Africa for showing good neighbourliness by accommodating and extending hospitality to the people of Zimbabwe who have been forced to leave their country by the despotic regime.
