Zimbabwe has gone to the dogs

The economic, social and political freefall of the once envied teapot shaped country of Madzimbabwe has reached alarming proportions.
At a time when the general citizenry is walloping in poverty, the ever absent architect of the same machinations has clocked a record twenty five thousand flight hours within a year.
Granted, Mr. Mugabe is always fond of the skies probably in indication that he aspires to depart from the earth soonest.
Comes in the heir apparent, Mnangangwa, the man who almost entirely destroyed the Ndebele tribe during Gukurahundi if the devil is to perpetuate his rule in Zimbabwe - suddenly the crocodile loves the air regions more than the seas however OVERSEAS as usual.
Mnangangwa is in China to get lectures on dictatorship whereas Mugabe has escaped to the United States leaving the clueless Mphoko to administer the affairs of the state.
Where in this modern age has one seen a government unleashing emotional anger on its citizens? The war going on between state sponsored thugs some in uniform aided by alcohol wreaking Zanu PF militias against employees of the only sustainable industry is pathetic, deplorable and regrettable if not outright stupid.
Who in his right senses will ever sanction the thuggish behavior displayed in Zimbabwe's capital including starting a fire in the city centre? The Mayor has absolved himself from this madness and everyone is left to wonder where we are headed for as a people? Hey sinister Kasukuwere, you are an embarrassment to modern civilization - if ever you belong to the same.
The footbridge along Speke Avenue was erected as an advancement of infrastructural development and is one of its kind in Africa and I can safely vouch that it was peculiar in the entire third world countries.
The only hope and shining example was the convergence of Zimbabweans of all walks of life to demand the return of Dzamara, a journalist who was abducted by state sponsored thugs for demanding the freedom of all Zimbabweans. . Though I am not sure how this really affects the self destructive regime of Mugabe, the same effort employed in trying to block the same has a story to tell.
Life in Zimbabwe has slipped back into the medieval era with no hope in the horizon. Cowardly Joice Mujuru remains in self imposed political hibernation and she is yet to come in the open in defence of Zimbabwe.
It is clear that all supporters of Joice Mujuru have been victimized and expelled from Zanu PF whilst Amos Midzi met his untimely demise but the revered political goddess is yet to make a move. It only takes a fool to believe that a demon can repent and become an angel - watching over the saints. Is it too much if the people demand that Mujuru tells the truth about the many who were murdered.
In the same vein, it is folly and a serious betrayal to wine and dine with Dydimus Mutasa without holding him, accountable for the death of Joshua Bakacheza and Tonderai Ndira. It takes a high level of madness for one to believe that Dumiso Dabengwa does not know who took Patrick Nabanyama.
As they repent, Jabulani Sibanda must explain how many people were killed, maimed and displaced by "Operation Kubudirana Pachena" when he victimized people in my rural Masvingo.
Zimbabwe is at crossroads and it needs us all. All Zimbabweans can make it happen but the truth should be the guiding compass. Before embracing the renegades from the dictator's kraal, they must confess, apologise and repent - toenda mberi!
