Letter to Bulawayo MDC province

Dear colleagues
Re: *Seeking Nomination Mashonaland West for a VP post, 2019 MDC Congress*
As a formality to yourselves, theb esteemed provincial executive, I hereby seek your indulgence and support. I implore you to nominate me as one of the MDC vice presidents in the forthcoming MDC elective congress.
I have been active in the mainstream of the People's project since its inception in 1999. Notwithstanding political turbulences, I have managed to stand up against challenges that came our way until to date.
Since 2006 I have been either deputy or substantive secretary for information and publicity of Bulawayo province. My performance in this portfolio has been challenging and refreshing indeed. I spoke, defended the party and its leadership at all levels. I protected fundamental values, virtues and principles of the People's project, the Movement for Democratic Change without fear or favour.
I'm of the conviction that, by contesting a political post in a mass party like ours is not only my desire but it would also legitimise, legalize and democratise the internal electoral processes. Therefore whoever shall win fairly, will be representing myself too in the standing committee. I believe in fair play.
Thanking you in advance for your invaluable cooperation and support fellow democrats.
Yours sincerely
