NetOne Charity Shield fever grips town as Bosso is at risk

The NetOne Charity Shield is now imminent with the semi-final matches expected to be held next weekend at venues yet to be announced by the sponsorsd and organisers.
To date more than 25 000 SMSes have been sent across from supporters rooting for their team to play a part in the season opener.
NetOne this year broke new ground in having supporters play an active role in the selection process for participants in the NetOne Charity Shield soccer showcase.
"We opened a short code in conjunction with PSL and E-TOP-UP which is 38080, to allow supporters to vote in for their teams to be part of the soccer showcase.
"There are prizes to be won that include smartphones, airtime for supporters who vote for their teams on the shortcode," said Memory Mandiya the NetOne Marketing & Sales Director.
She also indicated the format for the 2013 edition of the soccer season opener had changed with teams increased to four.
