The Zimbabwe Under 18 rugby team massacred Limpopo Blue Bulls 43-5 to maintain a clean sheet at the Craven Week Rugby Festival on Wednesday.
Tawanda Ngosi opened the flood gates, capitalising on a handling error by the Limpopo Blue Bulls before racing away for a try that gave Zimbabwe an 8-nil lead.
A show of strength saw a well-orchestrated maul culminating in Zimbabwe's captain Daniel Moolman chipping in with a try that handed Godwin Murambiwa's charges a 15-nil lead at half time.
Zimbabwe's dominance continued in the second half with Brandon Boshi extending the Young Sables lead thanks to a quick counter attack down the right hand channel.
Brendon Mandivenga joined in the act with a show of pace allowing him to break loose of his opponents' backline that struggled to contain a Young Sables' onslaught.
Jabulani Mutukwa then scored the morning's best try with a solo run taking Zimbabwe's lead to 36-nil.
Mandivenga was once again in the thick of the action 5 minutes later, as he powered through the centre before setting up Tanaka Chikwezvero for a routine try.
The Limpopo Bulls then produced a consolation try that reduced Zimbabwe's lead to 43-5.
The Young Sables win was their second at the Craven Week Rugby Festival after overcoming the Griquas on Monday.
