Mamelodi Sundowns' Zimbabwean defender Method Mwanjali has signed a deal with Mpumalanga Black Aces.
The 30-year-old signed a one-year extension to his stay at Sundowns but appears to have decided to move on to a team where he can be guaranteed first team football.
This means that Mwanjali will be joining Aces for a fee, since he had extended his stay at Sundowns, rather than as a free agent.
On Monday Aces Media Liaison Officer Gordon Masondo told the Siya crew that the Zimbabwean defender was training with AmaZayoni, however the club has since confirmed that Mwanjali has signed for them.
"Mwanjali will be playing for us next season. He has signed a deal with us, but as you know I can't reveal the length of his contract," said a source close to Aces. Mwanjali becomes the third Sundowns player to join AmaZayoni after midfielder Themba Zwane and goalkeeper Calvin Marlin signed for the ambitious Mpumalanga-based outfit.
