KAIZER Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona has denied reports he wants to join cash rich South African Premiership side Mamelodi Sundowns.

According to Kick Off, the Zimbabwean international striker responded with an emphatic 'No, no, no, no!' when asked if he would be joining the Brazilians.

Musona has been on a season-long loan from German side Hoffenheim, scoring 16 goals in 25 starts.

Chiefs are desperate to get the Zimbabwean international back on a permanent basis, but as KickOff.com revealed earlier in the week, Sundowns have now also joined the party.

"I saw on the internet about Sundowns, but I have no idea about that," Musona says.

"I made it clear from the beginning when I came back that my aim is to go back to Europe and, if not, I would stay here at Kaizer Chiefs. I won't go to any other club here in South Africa."

"Sundowns? No, no, no, no! I know money is part of football, but the main thing is to go to a team where you can play regularly, where you are wanted and improve your career as a player. That is more important for me than money.

"I can say I'm happy at Chiefs and I'm not looking forward to go to any local club. This is my home team, my first professional club as a player, and they are the ones who made me the person I am.

"I grew up at Chiefs and I'm not going to change my mind and go for money."
