ZPC Kariba dominates soccer star finalists

ZPC Kariba have dominated this year's soccer stars final 11 selection which features three players from Kauya Katuruturu.
ZPC Kariba have the most players in the 2014 soccer stars list after Limited Chikafa, Dennis Dauda and Tendai Hove all made the list of 11 players selected in the capital on Saturday morning.
Selected from Dynamos were Stephen Alimenda and Themba Ndlovu while Caps United's Tendai Samanja also made the 11 man list.
FC Platinum's Thabani Kamusoko, David Kutyauripo of Harare City and Hwange's Evans Rusike were also selected.
Charles Sibanda and Kudakwashe Musharu who head into Sunday's encounters as the PSL's joint top goal scorers with 12 goals were also included.
Speaking shortly after the conclusion of the selection process, convenor of selectors Steve Vickers was satisfied with the event.
Also satisfied was Footballers Union of Zimbabwe Chairman Desmond Maringwa who described the process as fair.
This year saw the introduction of electronic voting, a development Delta Marketing Manager Patricia Murambinda believes enhances transparency.
The selection panel was made up of journalists, coaches and captains of top flight teams.
The Soccer Star of the Year, Coach of the Year and Referee of the Year will be announced at a glittering ceremony that will be held in the capital next month.
