Under-fire CAPS United coach Mark Mathe has been given a two-match ultimatum to save his job following the team's dismal performances.
Former Dynamos and Warriors coach Calisto Pasuwa has now been earmarked as a possible replacement should Mathe fail to meet the target of winning the next two league matches. Pasuwa's manager Gibson Mahachi, however, said that they have not received any formal approach yet from CAPS United.
The team's executive was not pleased by the club's early exit on penalties in the Chibuku Super Cup to ZPC Kariba on Sunday at Rufaro Stadium.
Mathe has since been tasked to turn the tables around in their next two league games against Flame Lilly and Dongo Sawmills or face the chop.
After the defeat to ZPC, Makepekepe supporters waylaid the team outside the venue demanding Mathe's immediate sacking before they were driven away by police.
