HARARE - In a significant development for Zimbabwe's aviation and tourism sectors, Air Zimbabwe has announced the continuation of its Harare-Mutare-Victoria Falls route beyond the Sanganai/Hlanganani/Kumbanai World Tourism Expo. This move is set to revolutionize travel in the region and provide a much-needed boost to the local economy.

The Harare-Mutare-Victoria Falls route was initially launched to facilitate travel for attendees of the 15th Edition of the Sanganai/Hlanganani/Kumbanai World Tourism Expo. However, the overwhelming response from travelers has led Air Zimbabwe to make this route a permanent fixture, operating daily.

Announcing in a statement this Tuesday, the airline's Chief Executive Officer, Edmund Makona said that they have also introduced competitive fares to make travel more accessible to a wider audience.

According to Air Zimbabwe Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Edmund Makona, the airline is committed to strengthening domestic tourism and promoting regional economic integration.

"This route has received an overwhelmingly positive response across the board," Makona said.

"It has evolved from an event-specific service to a permanent arrangement, providing essential air access to the Eastern Highlands," Makona added.
