The prominent Saratoga night club has reportedly closed due to insolvency.
The club which was being run by the Zimbabwean musician Taurai Bryn Muteki aka "Sekuru Tau"in Harare Highfield Machipisa business Centre.
Being the hunting ground for many sex workers in areas around High Glen the closure has affected many sex workers.
"We are very much affected by the closure of Saratoga it was our hunting ground since it is very big and common in Highfield.
"Our clients were used to this place but it is going to take time for them and us to adjust in other small bars," said Charmaine.
Another sex worker from Budiriro operating at Saratoga said the closure does not affect them much as they have always operated from outside.
"The closure does not affect us much since our clients know that we stand outside soliciting so we just continue standing on the closed doors we call it pamushika shika (fast catch).
"There is nowhere Mteki would go because he was hiring a lot of body guards buying hookers and revellers sadza on Fridays obviously one would get broke," she said.
Meanwhile, Muteki could not be reached as his mobile phone went unanswered.
