Chinesse Law student releases a Shona Song

A twenty year old Law student from Hong Kong China has released a Shona song that encourages peace and unity among Zimbabweans.
The song titled Runyararo was presented to Media, Information and Publicity Minister, Webster Shamu yesterday.
The twenty year old female law student from Hong Kong, Yasmine Zahir visited Zimbabwe for the first time eight months ago and was charmed by the hospitality and loving nature of local people.
When she returned to Hong Kong she penned a song called Runyararo dedicated to Zimbabwe.
A local Music Producer, Forward Mazurutse helped her translate the song into Shona.
Father to the young musician, Muhamad Zahir who flew from Hong Kong to present the disc said his daughter was inspired by the real situation in Zimbabwe which is a direct contrast to the situations being portrayed by the Western media.
Minister of Media, Information and Publicity, Webster Shamu hailed Yasmine's initiative saying she had sent a very strong message to the world especially the west that it is honourable to respect a country's sovereignty.
The Western media has put Zimbabwe under siege since the country embarked on the land reform programme in 2000.
However those who have visited Zimbabwe have seen the peace and tranquility that abide in the country.
