Nigerian superstar Wizkid is coming to Zimbabwe for his first ever performance at the Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare on 8 April 2016.
Wizkid, who is currently touring in the United States of America confirmed the Zimbabwe show saying he could not wait to perform for his Zimbabwean fans.
He will be supported by Jnr Brown, Cal Vin, Judgement Yard, Cynthia Mare, Mzoe 7, Mellow T, DJ Rax, Dj Taf Miles and DJ Storm.
Spokesperson for the event Larry Kwirirayi said, "We are really excited to be bringing a genuine hitmaker to Zimbabwe, a real star, a winner of multiple international awards with a strong fanbase in the country. Forbes Africa called him one of the most bankable stars on the continent.
"He will be supported by some of the best in the business and we have made a deliberate effort to make sure we have artists from outside Harare included. It will be exciting to have Jnr Brown and Cal Vin on the same bill for example."
Wizkid has continuously seen his stock rise churning out hits like 'In My Bed', 'Show You The Money', 'Caro', 'Azonto' and 'Ojuelegba'. The latter was such a hit that it attracted the attention of US star Drake and the two collaborated on a remix after exchanging pleasantries on Instagram. His latest single 'Final (Baba Nla)' is currently receiving heavy rotation on Zimbabwean stations.
Advance tickets are as follows: General $10 ($20 at the gate), VIP $50 and VVIP ($100).
The Wizkid gig is powered by Xmo Squad and Golden Drop P/L.
