Controversial gospel singer Lundi Tyamara who has a large following in Zimbabwe believes the time has come to vindicate himself in the eyes of his fans by setting the record straight once and for all.
Sowetan Sunday World newspaper reported that the popularly know only as Lundi, the multi-award winning gospel muso has been given the opportunity to spill the beans in the tell-all, see-all e.tv programme about his turbulent life - on and off stage.
This will be the fifth season of the celebrity reality television series Rolling With.Headliners airing on today (Sunday night at 6.30pm).
The reality show is a no-holds barred series that lifts the lid on the private lives of celebrities by encroaching them with cameras when they least expect it.
"I've been long waiting for the opportunity because my life has been riddled by truths, half-truths but most of all lies," said Lundi.
"People, most of all my fans, will get to know me better, get to be up close and personal with the real Lundi for a change as I relate what I went through to be where I am today.
"I'm prepared to come clean because my space and life has been invaded since I was young.
"In the eyes of the media I've lived the most dramatic life of all the people that I know in the industry.
"For instance, early this year there were stories that I've been arrested in a stolen car, only to find that the car was not stolen and I have since sued the police for wrongful arrest. I promise my fans that a lot will be revealed, some good and some not."
After 26 albums, Lundi will be recording his second live DVD at Gold Reef City, south of Joburg, on August 29. He will be working with the Jaziel Brothers, Sechaba, Lusanda Spiritual Group and Peter Mokoena among his many friends.
Young dance group Vintage Cru is among the string of South African entertainment industry's big wigs lined up in Rolling With...Headliners.
Speaking on behalf of the group, members Ashwin and Lee-Che said it was not every day that dancers were given the opportunity to showcase their talent and lives on reality shows.
"It's not always that we are profiled, except in dance competitions. When the offer came we told ourselves to grab it with both hands because we believe in standing up for ourselves, to be seen and be given a platform."
Lee Che said dancers were at the bottom of the hierarchy in the entertainment industry and the show would drive them to work harder to achieve greatness.
"It will give us a chance to work on our style and choreography as well as other aspects of our craft but most of all reveal to the viewers what it is like to be a dancer in a dance group."
This year the show has model and presenter Maps Maponyane, music group Mi Casa, comedians Goliath and Goliath, traditional healer Bhaka Nzam and fashion designer David Tlale.
