BULAWAYO giants Highlanders are hoping to build on their recent momentum when they entertain Cranborne Bullets this Sunday at Barbourfields stadium.
Amahlolanyama, as Highlanders are affectionately known by their multitudes of followers, have gone for five games without tasting defeat, a feat their technical manager Mandla Mpofu is convinced can be extended.
Highlanders host a threatening Cranborne bullets this Sunday at Emagumeni and technical manager Mpofu is demanding consistency among his charges.
"We have gone for five games without defeat in the process scoring 8 and conceding one in the process. That on it's on is an indication that we are improving. As we have maintained that we want to be a fortress, we are alive that we are playing a team that has won two of their games," said Mandla Mpofu Highlanders Technical Manager.
Highlanders are going for Sunday's showdown after holding Triangle nil-all at Gibbo at the weekend, while Cranborne Bullets are oozing with confidence after edging a struggling Bulawayo city 2-1.
