A family spokesperson, Sifiso Tshuma, described her sister's death as a huge loss to the family.

No one will fill her gap. She'll be buried tomorrow at Nkulumane Heroes' Acre. We'll first have a service at Guta RaMwari in Mpopoma suburb," said Tshuma.

After the signing of the Lancaster House Agreement, Moyo gave liberation fighters accommodation and was responsible for their upkeep.
After Independence, she was elected as Zanu-PF chairperson in the women's league for Sibambene District
