Man killed over porridge
29 Mar 2017 at 21:37hrs | Views
A man has been killed after an alleged dispute about porridge following an illicit beer (Kachasu) session in Guruve, Mashonaland Central on Monday.
Sources close to the investigation allege that the deceased, Norman Dzangwe, was allegedly pushed to his death by his drinking mate Simbarashe Muparaganda.
Muparanganda is in police custody but he is disputing the charge saying Dzangwe would always collapse due to hunger when drunk and would only be awoken by eating porridge.
He alleges the pair had a misunderstanding because Muparaganda was not in a position to make porridge for the Dzangwe.
Muparaganda is expected in court tomorrow.
