Highlanders' new foreign signings have been granted work permits but the fans will have to wait a little longer before they see them in action as the rules governing the game say they can only play in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) a month after being granted the permits.

Early last month, Bosso sought the services of the foreign trio of Tambwe Kalunga, Ebabali Yves and Manuel Esono and their permits have since been finalised but Esono is yet to be properly registered.

Highlanders Acting Chairman, Morden Ngwenya told journalists that Amahlonyama will have to bank on the local players until the end of the month, in conformity with the league's rules.

"We actually got the permits of the three on 31 March. What this means is that they will only play on the 1st of next month," he said.

Bosso are banking on the services of the three foreigners as they seek to bolster their side which is reeling from injuries that saw nine of their players missing the Uhuru Cup final in Harare on Tuesday.

Coach, Elroy Akbay said eight of their injured key players will miss Sunday's encounter against ZPC Kariba, but will bank on the Tuesday Independence Cup final form that saw them come from behind to draw against DeMbare only to lose on penalties.

After Sunday's encounter, Bosso will travel to Beitbridge for a date with Tsholotsho FC at Dulibadzimu Stadium on Wednesday next week.
