Kombi crushes baby to death

BINDURA - A baby has died after being crushed to death by a kombi this morning in Chiwaridzo phase 2 after the child's mother, a vendor, disembarked and reportedly left her unattended whilst offloading her stuff.
Eye witnesses allege the vendor identified as mai Yollanda neglected her child and focused on offloading vending commodities leading to the child being run over by the vehicle.
"Mai Yollanda neglected her baby who crawled underneath a kombi she had disembarked and hence the crush to death," revealed the source.
When contacted for comment acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Petros Masikati said he is yet to receive the case.
