Is Promise Mkhwananzi and Tajamuka part of Zanu-PF distractions?

"Last Night I sent an inbox to Zim Solutions about my experience with an activist in the struggle. I was called a lot of names. One Guy called Simba Osore went as far as telling me I had AIDS from having my legs open all the time, I guess the implication was I am a whore. I was not even the slightest bit offended because SUCH tactics will not stop me from telling my story of my experience in the struggle and why after spending thousands of dollars I left.

I am compiling all my materials and am making sure they are published in a Paper. WHY. Last night a friend who knew my story contacted me and told me that Promise Mkwananzi was asking for money or "resources". I have to admit I have so much residual anger towards those who have hijacked the struggle and turned it into a form of employment. It's discouraging and makes you feel hopeless and you eventually just give up.

For almost 8 months I answered the call to peaceful arms after Evan Mawarire inspired me. I contacted all the civic groups I could wanting to help. I got in touch with Promise Mkwananzi. For that period I was fully commited none stop, I was working fulltime for Tajamuka and what I thought was Zimbabwe. I did flyers even till this the last flyer on the tajamuka cover page is one I did. I wrote the bond note petition that tajamuka was supposed to take around the country for signing and then present to the courts which never happened because instead Tajamuka opted to have a top secret meeting with the RBZ.

I left Tajamuka for a short period of time when I discovered Promise was misusing funds we were giving to pay people. I became suspicious of Promise because while he was in jail I got a chance to work with the other Tajamuka guys. Well when Promise came out of jail he wanted me to completely stop talking to everyone and only talk to him. There were weekly requests with different budgets for activities that were supposed to advance democracy but nothing ever panned out fully So I started asking a lot of questions. WHY was I not to talk to this one or that one. And there were just a lot of things that stopped adding up.

At that time Promise asked for money for Printing of Bond Note Petition and for people who would help get signatures. I sent the money. Promise told me they needed $1250 for 25 youth who would get signatures at $50 each for the program. I didn't mind. In fact a few thousand a week to support the struggle seemed very reasonable considering they were fighting the struggle. I would always send money for activities and at least $300 a week to Promise so he could support himself. In the mean time I paid $1200 a month for his wife and two kids to stay in a Flat where they would be safe as they prepared to leave the country as I had managed to get his wife into a school in the US. I have the emails from his Wife. After everything i discovered Promise's lies i wandered how much of a conman his wife knew he was. I was willing to do whatever it took for the struggle.

Anyway THIS TIME around I asked him to show me proof he had paid everyone as every time I asked he would say something else. He said he would get me proof and I waited but he kept tell me next time etc. Finally he realized I would not give anything else until there was proof he paid the people. He finally sent me ecocash receipts. The receipts showed me he had not paid those youth $50 each. His answer was he paid them what he thought each had earned. I was so disgusted and angry, what was the difference between him and the corrupt government we were fighting.

What made it worse was that he never acknowledged that he realized he was wrong until again he asked for money from someone else who asked if I could help and I then explained why I wouldn't. It was at that time that Promise finally sent an apology to me. My friend also convinced me to go back and help Tajamuka and we picked up were we had left with the Petition and other activities . I finally left Tajamuka after Promise and Tajamuka had a secret meeting with RBZ against all advice. The goal had been to get a lot of citizens to sign the petition and file a class action injunction against the introduction of bonds and to have a Demo which I paid for but nothing happened.

I later on discovered so much more about Promise as I struggled to understand why a young person like Promise who knew the struggle young Zimbabweans were facing would steal from those people and compromise the struggle and I soon realized he was never really in the struggle.

I have attached screenshots of some of the conversations with Promise as Proof and will introduce more proof daily if I have too. WHY BECUASE I BELIEVE NO OTHER ZIMBO SHOULD BE DUPED OUT OF MONEY BY PROMISE AGAIN or ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER!!!

As for those who chose to call me stupid ,a whore or tell me I have AIDS people like Simba Osore I have NEWS for you I will never be ashamed because I had the courage to at least try to do my part and give what I could. What's sad is I know Simba he used to be the go between for Evan Mawarire in the US. I donated $5000 to the New York Demo against Mugabe which helped pay for plane tickets for People like Evan to come to the DEMO and I also have the proof.

WHAT PEOPLE LIKE PROMISE DO IS DISCOURAGE PEOPLE AND PUSH PEOPLE TO LEAVE THE STRUGGLE BECUASE YOU BECOME JADED AND IT DOEN'T HELP WHEN PEOPLE LIKE SIMBA OSORE ATTACK PEOPLE FOR DEMANDING TRANSPARANCY. I MAY HAVE LEFT and now mostly stick to just paying school fees for kids in Zimbabwe and those going to universities because at least there I see something tangible happening.

Now I just wait for the usual suspects to try tarnishing my name in an effort to discredit me although the proof is very much there."
