MRP raps Zanu PF over sacking of nurses

Mthwakazi Republic Party has rapped the ruling Zanu PF over the sacking of nurses following their strikes over poor working conditions and remuneration.
"When Zanu PF intentionally set on an unproportional programme to train more Shona Nurses than Ndebele Nurses we watched in awe. Many times Ndebele people feel Nurses in our regions are rude and have no empathy but in reality there is a massive language barrier," said MRP.
"Abasizwa njalo lathi asibezwa. We don't understand them and they don't understand us. When you are unwell the last thing you need is a translator for your healthcare professional. That's said, we have had to live with it. Now we have this army personnel Chiwenga, who rose to Presidential office through an intra party military coup. This man has taken the few Nurses we have and fired all of them with no regard for the impact on healthcare services for ordinary citizens."
MRP said these political thieves are so detached from everyday Zimbabwean life that they formulate policies that have no basis on the impact they have on the elderly, young, infants and the vulnerable in our society.
It said some Government decisions need educationally informed underpinning.
"Chiwenga is neither educated enough nor is he the legally responsible person to make such an important decision. As MRP this is a prime example on why our Manifesto has implicit intention to allocate government function to technocratic departments and personnel. No impact assessment was done or considered by this corrupt impulsive official," said MRP.
"We call on Chiwenga to calm down and allow relevant departments to deal with this, starting with the Ministry of Health."
