Man lifts sister in-law's dress, threatens to rape her in public

A 32-year-old Guruve man was convicted for lifting his sister in-laws dress up there by leaving her undergarments exposed.
Vengai Mushongahande of Mushongahande village in Kachuta Guruve pleaded guilty to indecent assault before Guruve resident magistrate Mr Shingirai Mutiro who slapped him with $150 fine.
According to state prosecutor Miss Spiwe Makarichi, On the 15th of May 2018 Mushongahande met a 55 year old widow who is her sister in-law at Kachuta growth point and greeted her before grabbing her and lifting her dress upwards leaving her under garments exposed.
The widow tried to confront Mushongahande who threatened to have s*x with her in the eyes of the public.
She then filed a police report leading to the arrest of the accused.
However during mitigation Mushingahande told the court that the two always played that way since she does not have a husband but surprisingly she filed a report against him.
"Your worship this woman is my in-law and is a widow we always play that way for seven years but it is very surprising that today she has reported me to the police," he said.
