THE MDC-T faction led by Nelson Chamisa yesterday declared it was all systems go after resolving all primary election disputes over the selection of party candidates for next month's general elections.

National party chairperson, Morgen Komichi told NewsDay the final list of candidates would now be presented to the nomination courts tomorrow.

Komichi said that in areas where there were disputes, the leadership looked at circumstances and made their own decision based on their findings.

Some of the hotly contested constituencies included Kuwadzana East and Chikanga-Dangamvura where prominent party figures were battling it out.

"We made a decision in Kuwadzana East. We made a decision out of what happened last weekend, so Charlton Hwende is the candidate. In Chikanga-Dangamvura the same thing, there was a lot of violence and we have done our assessment and analysis and Prosper Mutseyami is the candidate," Komichi said.

"We are through with all the constituencies. We are in the process of the nomination court and people are busy with the forms."

Mutseyami was contesting against MDC-T national women's boss, Lynette Karenyi, who yesterday declined to comment on the matter.

In Kuwadzana East, the party chose its deputy national treasurer Hwende ahead of vanguard leader, Shakespeare Mukoyi. The youth leader was not answering his phone yesterday.

In Glen View South, party members had protested against the alleged im position of the late party leader Morgan Tsvangirai's daughter, Vimbai Lava, whose candidature was confirmed yesterday.
