Chigumba in sexual relationship with a presidential candidate?

Zimbabwe Electoral Commission chairwoman Justice Chigumba has said she is "not in a sexual relationship with any presidential candidate" and her private life "should remain exactly that. Private!."
Chigumba said this during an interview with Ruvheneko on CapitalkFM.
This was after former Sunday Mail editor and ex-Zanu PF employee, Edmund Kudzayi made sensational claims about her being involved in a sexual relationship with President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
On Monday, the outspoken journalist wrote on his Twitter account that the under-fire ZEC boss was not fit to be in her position as she was having an affair with one of the presidential aspirants.

"Justice Chigumba must resign from her position at ZEC," he said, adding, "While her privacy must ordinarily be respected, there is a strong public interest argument in this instance where a private sexual relationship fetters the discretion of a judge. I will publish the full story on Wednesday."

Said Kudzayi, "I don't enjoy publishing private information even when the public interest is overwhelming. It's a crude tool, especially where children are involved. My prayer is that Chigumba resigns quietly."

Kudzayi backtracked a bit and said, "The Chigumba scandal is not about sex. We all have sex, that's a private matter. The issue is the election chief having a romantic relationship with a Zanu PF cabinet minister. A classic conflict of interest. Varakashi are desperate to paint this as a sex scandal, it is not."

Chamisa was also asked about allegations on Chigumba's sex life.

He said these are personal matters which he doesn't encourage but they are arising because of the conduct of ZEC. He says the rumours are because people don't understand why ZEC is opaque and manipulating the process.
