State controlled radio station StarFM reports that the military ordered journalists to turn off their cameras during Harare riots on Wednesday.
Renowned journalist Mduduzi Mathuthu said "Soldiers are not trained to control crowds but kill. Police ARE the security arm trained in crowd control, and our Constitution gives them that role. Who deployed soldiers is the most important question that will have to be answered pretty quickly as death toll rises."
... and the Kiboko Squad here, is that also 'To Whom it may concern?" #Zimbabwe pic.twitter.com/PbpW4Jref1
