Mthwakazi activist Hloniphani Ncube has said the MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa seems more tribal than President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
"I do not support Mnangagwa neither do I subscribe to Chamisa, but Mnangagwa judging from the appointments of the recent cabinet is better than Chamisa. Chamisa's alliance have fielded more Shona candidates in Matebeleland. The national leadership of the MDC alliance has approximately 96 percent Shonas. In fact, the tribalism exhibited by Chamisa is highly serious because he has managed for the first time to invade Bulawayo by deploying a thief," he said.
"The current deputy Shona mayor is struggling from personal debts and it's obvious Bulawayo City Council funds are going to bail him. How on earth can we be led by a foreigner who is financially struggling. Bulawayo is in serious trouble and this cannot be allowed to go on."
"We must as the people of Bulawayo fight this Shona supremacy that has escalated. This deputy mayor must not find peace seating on that sacred throne."
