THE love for kachasu has landed a 32-year-old Guruve man behind bars after he was caught drinking the illicit brew at the magistrates' courts.
The daring Katuruza Amos of Penros Farm decided to quench his thirst with the illicit brew right at the courts on Thursday, as he waited to appear before a magistrate to face charges of assault, which he allegedly committed last year.
Guruve resident magistrate, Shingirai Mutiro, remanded him in custody to October 3.
At his next court appearance, Katuruza will answer to counts of assault and consuming liquor at a prohibited place.
Spiwe Makarichi represented the State.
