Man sodomises 12-year-old cousin

A 23-year-old man in Hurungwe was last week arrested for allegedly sodomising his 12-year-old cousin in a case that has stunned villagers in the district.
The man, who resides in Village 5, Mutungabira, Mahwau, appeared before Karoi magistrate Mr Obedience Matare facing two counts of sodomy.
Prosecutor Mr Benjamin Negato told the court that the man shares a bedroom with the minor.
On May 3, he allegedly sodomised the 12-year-old after slipping into his blankets and gagging him with his palm.
It is further alleged that he repeated the offence on May 20. The boy later reported the matter to his parents, leading to the man's arrest.
