ZANU PF MP's widow faces seven challengers

The widow of the late Zanu-PF Mangwe MP Obedingwa Mguni, Hlalani, faces a challenge from seven other candidates at the constituency's by election on 7 September.
Mguni died at a Harare hospital in June after collapsing in Parliament.
Zanu-PF, in its internal polls, selected Mguni's widow to contest the seat.
Hlalani and the seven candidates successfully submitted their papers at the nomination court in Gwanda on Friday.
The seven other candidates are Vincent Sihlabo (MDC- Alliance), Mathew Sibanda (Zapu) Kositsile Goerge Raphael (MDC-T) Lizwe Dlomo (NCA), Chatada Nleya (MRP), Varaidzo Phiri (LEAD) and Zinkabi Ncube (Independent.
