Council worker found dead

Mvurwi Town Council employee, Gumburai Magunde was found dead on the road yesterday after allegedly consuming too much homemade illicit beer called Kachasu.
He is believed to have fallen on the road while on his way home at night and rains poured on him.
Passerbys discovered his dead body in the morning and filed a police report.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Naison Dhliwayo confirmed the case and warned people to shun illicit brew.
"I can confirm a case of sudden death in Mvurwi which was caused by taking too much Kachasu," Dhliwayo said.
"We are warning members of the public to shun illicit brew as it endangers their lives."
The body of Magunde was taken to Mvurwi hospital for postmortem.
