Prophet Isaiah Sovi raises Africa's flag in Dubai

Charismatic Prophet and Businessman Isaiah Brian Sovi has been hailed for being one of the few young businesspersons from Africa who attended the recently held Africa-Dubai Investment summit which was held under the Royal patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi.

Sovi was part of the high-powered delegation led by Zimbabwe's Presidential envoy and Ambassador At Large to the America's and Europe who is responsible for deepening investment in the country His Excellency Ambassador Uebert Angel.

The 1st Edition of the Africa Dubai investment summit which took place at Habtoor Palace, Al Habtoor City from 29th- 30th September 2021 was hosted by the Africa World Business Centre (AWBC) and will be followed by a charity event and a guided tour in the Dubai Expo for VIP guests who include Ministers, Political leaders, Diplomatic corps, senior-level government officials from the Middle East and Africa.

Commenting on Prophet Sovi's attendance, Nicholas Ncube the Secretary-General of the Pan African Christian Business Forum said it is an honor that the African Christian Business community is well-represented at such high-level platforms and the presence of Sovi is a major boost for the Southern African Christian community.

Sovi is the Founder and CEO of IBS Cargo a logistics entity with a presence in Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

On the sidelines of the Summit, Sovi held a private meeting with Ambassador Marlene Murphy the founder and CEO of The Artepreneurs Media Group and the Managing Partner of CliqoShop E-commerce Company. Sources close to the developments told this publication that the meeting was set to unlock multi-million dollar opportunities for the SADC business community.

Murphy's former employers included multi-national Fortune 500 Companies such as Allied Banking Corporation, American Express International, British American Tobacco, and Federal Monetary Authority, Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates.




Prophet Sovi was accompanied by his wife Pastor Shanna Sovi who is also a reputable businesswoman and philanthropist. Shanna held bilateral business meetings with a number of high-level delegates including Her Excellence Laila Rahhal El Atfani (also known as Laila Rahhall) the Founder and President of Business Gate. H.E. Rahhall is also the Special Advisor to the President of the Arab African Council for Integration and Development (AACID).

The summit, under the Dubai Expo's visionary statement of connecting minds and creating the future aims to connect world investors to leading decision-makers in the MEA region.

Dubai is recognized as the globalized financial capital and the undisputed tourism, trade, and banking hub of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Sovi who runs a business mentorship entity called IBS Mentorship Institute said he will issue a detailed program of action on how African businesspersons can leverage the Dubai-Africa business relationship.
