Mai Mabhena hosts Macheso

Guruve Hotel proprietor and music promoter Monica Chikanda popularly known as "Mai Mabhena" in the music industry is hosting the King of Sungura Alick Macheso tomorrow (Friday).
The hotel has not been hosting musical shows since 2020 when COVID-19 pandemic hit the country.
Mai Mabhena told this publication that the closure of the hotel due to lockdown gave her time to renovate her place.
"We were not conducting musical shows for the past two year due to lockdown but that gave us time to renovate the place we are happy to host Macheso tomorrow who will officially open our garden for musical shows," she said.
Macheso is on a nationwide tour with his new offering "Tinosvitswa Nashe."
Last weekend he was in Gweru and Bulawayo respectively.
