Armed robbers rob security guard

A Security guard at a Chinese milling company was on Wednesday robbed of his mobile phone by three unkown robbers in Shamva.
Owen Makoroni (25) allegedly came face to face with armed robbers who robbed him of his itell phone before tying him on the tree.
Mashonaland Central deputy police spokesperson Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha confirmed the case.
"I can confirm a robbery case which occured at Oxley farm, Shamva on Wednesday night where three armed robbers alleged pointed a pistol on Makoroni and robbed him of his mobile phone," he said.
"They tired him on a tree and vanished but hours latter he managed to untire himself and alerted his workmates who made perimeter checks and found a bolt cutter and five pairs of sacks left near a plant."
Police is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of the culprits.
They also urged mine owners to tighten their security levels.
