Zimbabwe's main opposition CCC leader Nelson Chamisa yesterday invaded President Emmerson Mnangagwa's volatile home town, Kwekwe, known for political violence and tensions, on the campaign trail.
Before he seized power through a military coup in November 2017, Mnangagwa had been run out of town - Kwekwe - by the opposition.
After the rally, Chamisa said: "THANK YOU KWEKWE! THANK YOU ZIMBABWE. They turned Kwekwe into a war zone and threatened you to the extent even using explosives to scare you away. But you resisted their terror and intimidation. We're winning big #ForEveryone."
