RTG commits US$500 000 towards refurbishing New Ambassador Hotel

Hospitality giant Rainbow Tourism Group (RTG) is nearing the completion of a US$500,000 refurbishment of the New Ambassador Hotel in Harare. The ambitious renovation project, which began on January 6, is focused on transforming the hotel's 72 guest rooms and bathrooms to provide a more modern and luxurious experience for visitors.
The hotel is set to reopen its doors next Monday, offering guests an upgraded stay in the heart of Harare.
Speaking during a media tour earlier today, RTG corporate affairs and quality manager Ms. Pride Khumbula detailed the extensive upgrades undertaken.
"The refurbishment includes reconfiguring and reconstructing the room layout to maximise space," Ms. Khumbula explained. "The bathrooms have been completely overhauled, with the installation of brand-new modern fixtures, including bathroom vanities, walk-in showers, and sleek toilets. The walls and floors have been stripped and re-tiled to achieve a sophisticated, contemporary finish."
