Shop owner robbed two loaves

A 30-YEAR-OLD man from Figtree was left counting losses after two suspected robbers allegedly robbed him of his two loaves, cell phone and a speaker.
Gift Ndlovu was also attacked with a knobkerrie by the suspects who left him seriously injured.
The matter came to light at Plumtree magistrates courts where the duo Teenager Nguni (23) and Iphithule Mike Sibanda (20) appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
Nembaware remanded the duo in custody to February 17.
The state led by Selestine Madziwa alleged on February 8 the complainant was going to his shop around 10pm when the two pounced on him.
They flashed him with a torch, assaulted him and robbed him.
Total value robbed $127 and $60 was recovered.
