Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema is set to undertake a State Visit
to Zimbabwe later this year, a move aimed at strengthening bilateral
relations between the two nations.
The announcement was conveyed by Minister Maimbo, Co-Chair of the Ministerial Segment of the Mid-Term Review of the 18th Session of the Joint Permanent Commission on Cooperation (JPCC), on behalf of President Hichilema.
The
upcoming visit will reciprocate earlier trips by Zimbabwean President
Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa to Zambia, highlighting the mutual respect
and commitment of the two leaders to deepen cooperation and advance
shared development goals.
Officials said the visit is expected to focus on enhancing trade, investment, and regional collaboration, reflecting the longstanding partnership between Zimbabwe and Zambia.
