ZANU PF members are reportedly preparing to adopt a set of resolutions aimed at advancing Vision 2030, the national development blueprint championed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. This follows their previous conference in Bulawayo, where some members had pushed for the extension of Mnangagwa's term to 2030 - a proposal he publicly rejected.

According to a post by ZANU PF PATRIOTS on X (formerly Twitter), the resolutions will focus on practical strategies to accelerate Zimbabwe’s transformation into an upper middle-income economy.

"ZANU PF members are set to come up with strong and practical resolutions that will guide the nation toward achieving Vision 2030, in line with President Mnangagwa’s development agenda," reads the post.

"The resolutions will focus on accelerating economic growth, industrialisation, job creation, and improved service delivery to ensure that no Zimbabwean is left behind as the country progresses toward becoming an upper middle-income economy by 2030."

In response to the post, ZANU PF supporter Itai 'Pavel' Ncube expressed his desire to contribute to the initiative but highlighted the need for access to resources and mentorship.

"My request is to be linked to H.E the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Dr Tungwarara, Dr Tagwirei, Sir Wicknell, Mr Collins and others who can train me," he posted.

The conversation reflects growing grassroots interest in participating in the Vision 2030 agenda, though concerns remain about inclusivity and access to support structures.
