Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) chief executive officer Yvonne Manwa is set to leave her position at the end of her tenure this month, the association confirmed in a statement today.
ZIFA described Manwa as providing "steady and purposeful leadership" during a pivotal period of reform and rebuilding for Zimbabwean football.
"Appointed by the ZIFA Normalisation Committee, Manwa has overseen significant achievements, including the development and adoption of a new ZIFA constitution, successful electoral processes leading to the current executive committee, facilitation of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Sports and Recreation Commission, comprehensive restaffing of the secretariat, the launch of the ZIFA Women's Football Strategy (2025-2028), and the seamless return of Zimbabwe to full international football participation, highlighted by the senior men's national team's qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025," the statement read.
ZIFA added that the process to identify and appoint her successor will begin soon to ensure a smooth transition.
