HEXCO releases 2025 results with 70% pass rate

The Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) has released the results for the November/December 2025 national examination session, recording a national pass rate of 70 percent.
In a statement, the Permanent Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Professor Fanuel Tagwira, confirmed that the results are now ready for collection across the country.
Professor Tagwira expressed appreciation to all stakeholders involved in the administration of the examinations, crediting their collective efforts for the successful conduct of the national assessment process.
"The Permanent Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Professor Tagwira hereby announces the release of the Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) National Examinations for the November/December 2025 examination session," he said.
"He wishes to thank all stakeholders involved in the national examinations process. Their contribution towards the success of the examinations has resulted in the achievement of a 70 percent pass rate."
He noted that the outcome reflects continued progress in technical and vocational education and training in Zimbabwe.
Candidates who sat for the November/December 2025 HEXCO examinations have been advised to collect their results from their respective regional centres starting on 21 January 2026.
HEXCO is responsible for conducting national examinations for technical, vocational and industrial training programmes, which form a key pillar of Zimbabwe's skills development and workforce readiness agenda.
