Man slits friend's throat and sucked his blood

Police in Harare have arrested a 28-year-old man, Shepherd Severa of Warren Park D, in connection with the killing of his friend on May 19.
According to police, the case came to light after officers discovered a blood-stained Toyota Aqua near Warren Hills Cemetery in the early hours of the day. Investigations later led to Severa's arrest, during which he allegedly confessed to killing his friend, Brian Nandana, using a kitchen knife.
Police further said the suspect allegedly committed the killing in disturbing circumstances before leading investigators to a shallow grave at the cemetery where the victim's body was recovered with visible neck injuries.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed that the victim's body was exhumed from the shallow grave as investigations continue into the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
