City of Mutare principal communications officer Charles Sadondo said the delivery of the bucket seats is expected to accelerate progress on the remaining works, describing the development as a significant step in the stadium's transformation.
He added that the long-term goal is to develop a facility capable of hosting international matches once full refurbishment is complete. The city also acknowledged the role of residents in supporting infrastructure development through payment of rates, which helps fund such projects.
