6 die in Harare - Bulawayo road crash

Six people died on the spot in a road traffic accident along the Harare–Bulawayo Road at the 223km peg near the Redcliff turn-off on Africa Day.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the fatal crash in a statement, saying the accident occurred at around 5:45pm.
Police said the collision involved a Honda Fit and a haulage truck.
"Six people died when a Honda Fit and a haulage truck collided," the police said.
Further details regarding the identities of the victims and the circumstances of the crash are expected to be released once investigations are complete.
Authorities have repeatedly urged motorists to exercise caution on major highways, particularly during public holidays when traffic volumes are high and accident risks increase.
